Welcome to Mapenzi Connect. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Mapenzi Connect mobile application, website, social media platforms, events, and related services collectively referred to as the Service.

Mapenzi Connect is a service of Love After Forty Ltd, a company registered in Kenya. By creating an account, attending events, or using any part of the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the Service.

Nature of the Platform

Mapenzi Connect is a relationship and lifestyle platform designed to help mature single adults connect intentionally through digital tools and curated experiences.

We do not provide matchmaking guarantees, relationship guarantees, background checks, medical verification, or assurances of personal safety. The Service facilitates introductions and community interaction only.

All relationships, communications, and meetings that arise from use of the Service are voluntary and occur at the user’s own discretion.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Mapenzi Connect.

By registering, you confirm that:

• You are a single adult

• You meet the age requirement

• The information you provide is accurate and truthful

We reserve the right to request proof of age or identity and to deny or terminate access if eligibility requirements are not met.

Accounts and Profiles

All users are required to create an account to access the Service.

Profiles may be reviewed and approved before becoming visible to other members. We may request identification documents or additional information to support profile approval. These checks are limited in scope and are not background checks or character verification.

You are responsible for keeping your account information accurate and up to date. You are responsible for all activity conducted through your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or remove accounts at our discretion where terms or community standards are violated.

User Conduct

Mapenzi Connect is built on respect, dignity, and intentional connection.

You agree not to:

• Harass, abuse, threaten, or harm other users

• Misrepresent your identity or intentions

• Share false, misleading, or inappropriate content

• Solicit money, services, or commercial activity without permission

• Use the platform for illegal or harmful purposes

Violation of these standards may result in account suspension or permanent removal without notice.

Interactions and Meetings

Any communication, connection, or meeting between users whether online or offline is voluntary and undertaken at the user’s own risk.

Mapenzi Connect does not supervise, endorse, or monitor private interactions or in person meetings. Users are responsible for exercising judgment, caution, and personal responsibility at all times.

We encourage users to follow our Safety and Community Guidelines when engaging with others.

Events and Experiences

Participation in Mapenzi Connect events, webinars, or gatherings is voluntary.

By attending events, you acknowledge that:

• You are responsible for your own conduct and safety.

• Photos or videos may be taken with consent as outlined in the Privacy Policy.

• Event details may change where reasonably necessary.

Refund and cancellation terms will be communicated for each event separately.

Payments and Subscriptions

Certain features, memberships, or events may require payment.

All fees, billing terms, and refund policies will be clearly communicated at the point of purchase. Payments are processed through third party service providers.

Mapenzi Connect is not responsible for payment processing errors beyond our control.

Intellectual Property

All content, branding, logos, text, images, and materials provided through the Service are the property of Love After Forty Ltd unless otherwise stated.

You may not copy, distribute, modify, or use any content without written permission.

Privacy and Data Protection

Your personal data is collected and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Kenya Data Protection Act 2019.

By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Love After Forty Ltd shall not be liable for:

• User conduct or interactions

Termination

You may close your account at any time.
